PONGAL FESTIVAL 2015 is celebrated on Jan 15. I have compiled the recipes which we make for the festival. click on the images for the recipe.

Karthigai Deepam 2014 is on Dec 5 this year. Being the native of Thiruvanamalai, a town in Northarcot District of Tamilnadu, in my inlaws house Karthigai Deepam is celebrated in a very grand way. We observe fasting on that day and make pori urndai, appam, vadai, payasam ,adai in the evening and offer to God as neivedhyam. Then we will end our fast after Lighting the lamps. I am giving a collection of Karthigai Recipes from Jeyashris Kitchen.

Navratri 2014 has started, and  many of you have must have kept Golu by now. I am also getting a lot of navratri invites from my friends and excited to see their Golu decorations too. I would love to see the Golu of my readers too.
